Kenny Dalglish

As part of a documentary that Pitch International were making about Kenny Dalglish, I was asked to come up with a variety of lower thirds and title sequences to open the scenes. I found old footage and photos, chopping and editing them in a way that highlights Kenny Dalglish's victorious reputation.

I chose sans serif typefaces that didn't feel too obtrusive or decorative - the cleaner the better - and kept them relatively small to draw the eye into the screen all the while without taking over or being too loud. I felt that the footage and animation of the type should be the bigger focus, so the typeface itself should be subtle.
